Terms and Conditions
Film Length: We currently accept short films that are less than 40 minutes in length, allowing for a variety of storytelling formats and styles.
Genres: We welcome submissions from all genres, including drama, comedy, documentary, animation, experimental, and more. We celebrate the diversity of storytelling and encourage filmmakers to explore their unique artistic visions.
Eligibility: Our festival is open to both aspiring and established filmmakers worldwide. We encourage emerging talent to seize this opportunity to showcase their creativity and passion.
Language: Films submitted can be in any language and must have English subtitles to ensure accessibility to all audiences.
Submission Format: Please submit your film by providing online links through our online submission form above. You can share the links to platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, or any other reliable video hosting service. Please make sure that the video and audio quality are of the highest possible standard.
Rights and Permissions: By submitting your film to Magic Reel Film Festival, you affirm that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the content featured in your film. This includes but is not limited to, music, images, and any copyrighted material.
Deadlines and Fees
Submission Deadline: Oct 31st
Fee: Rs. 499/-
Submissions received after Oct 31st, 2023, will not be eligible for the festival.
Technical Requirements: Films should be submitted in one of the common digital formats such as MP4, MOV, or AVI. Ensure that the video and audio quality of the film are of the highest possible standard.
Copyright and Legal Requirements: All submitted films must comply with relevant copyright laws and regulations. Participants are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, licenses, and clearances for the content used in their films.
Submission Details: Each submission should include the following information:
Film Title, Director’s Name, Contact details (email address, phone number), and Brief Synopsis of the Film
Multiple Submissions: Multiple film submissions are allowed. Each film must be submitted separately and accompanied by the appropriate entry fee.
Selection Process: Our experienced panel of judges will carefully review each submission and select films that demonstrate exceptional storytelling, technical proficiency, and artistic merit.
Notification: Once the selection process is complete, all submitters will be notified via email regarding the status of their submission. If your film is selected, we will provide further details on scheduling and screening.
Withdrawal Policy: Once a film is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from consideration.
Disqualification: The festival organizers reserve the right to disqualify any film that does not meet the submission guidelines or fails to comply with the festival’s rules and regulations. Please carefully review and adhere to these submission rules and regulations before submitting your film to the Magic Reel Film Festival.

Refund Policy
Film Submissions
All submission fees are non-refundable, even if we do not select your film. In submitting a completed short film, the filmmaker represents that they are authorized to submit this film for screening at the Magic Reel Film Festival. They also acknowledge that the film submission fee does not guarantee acceptance and no refund will be provided if your film is not selected.
Please note that all payments made on this website will be processed under the name ‘Beyond The Limit Creations’ on your billing statement.
